From each maker’s product pages. Other models may take a different battery.
A CR2 and a CR123 are different sizes
Energizer’s datasheets put a CR2 at 15.6 x 27 mm and its 123, the CR123A, at 17 x 34.5 mm, diameter by length. Both are 3 V lithium, but they aren’t the same size, so get the one your rangefinder’s maker names.
SIG SAUER and other brands
For SIG SAUER KILO rangefinders and other brands, look for the code on the old battery or in the manual.
Common questions
Is a CR123 the same battery as a CR123A?
Energizer lists its 123 battery as the replacement for both the CR123 and the CR123A. Leupold and Vortex print the code as CR123.
