Checking the battery level
On Windows, Microsoft says to search for Bluetooth and open Bluetooth & other devices settings to see the Bluetooth Mouse’s battery level. Apple says its Magic accessories have no charge indicator on the device itself.
Older Apple models
Apple says some earlier Apple wireless keyboards, mice and trackpads have removable batteries rather than a built-in one, and it gives separate steps for installing them.
