An LR41 is a 1.5 V alkaline button cell, 7.9 mm across and 3.6 mm thick, sold by Energizer and GP as the 192. The 392 and 384 are silver oxide cells of that size.
Printed on the flat side of a coin or button cell, or on the label of a larger battery.

Ringed: the 7.9 x 3.6 mm cell that LR41, 192 and 392 name, beside the bigger LR44 and the smaller 377.
The two silver oxide cells: 392 and 384
Renata’s data sheets give both 45 mAh and the same 7.9 x 3.6 mm size, and call the 392 high drain and the 384 low drain. Energizer’s silver oxide manual describes the two kinds: low drain cells for steady use over years, as in analog watches, and high drain cells for steady use with bursts, as in LCD watches with a backlight, watches with alarms and calculators.
How the makers rate them
Energizer rates its 192 (LR41) at 45 mAh to 0.9 V, and Renata its 392 at 45 mAh to 1.2 V. The two figures stop at different voltages, so they don’t compare directly. Energizer has marked its 192 sheet obsolete.
A thermometer that takes either
Philips’ SCH420 digital thermometer manual gives its battery as “1.5 V (LR41 or SR41)”, so either chemistry is the maker’s own choice there. For any other device, fit the code its manual or old battery shows.

Common questions
Is AG3 the same as LR41?
AG3 is Ansmann's name for its alkaline LR41. Ansmann sells one cell as LR41 / LR736 / AG3. Energizer's, Renata's, GP's and Duracell's sheets for this size don't list AG3.
Is LR41 the same as 392?
Only in size, on Energizer's and Renata's sheets. The LR41 is alkaline at 1.5 V and the 392 silver oxide at 1.55 V, both 7.9 x 3.6 mm.
What is V3GA?
GP lists V3GA as an equivalent model of its 192, the alkaline LR41. GP's page doesn't say whose code it is.
Codes, sizes and capacities come from Energizer’s 192 sheet and 392 page, GP’s 192 page, Renata’s 392 and 384 pages and data sheets and Energizer’s silver oxide manual, with Ansmann’s LR41 sheet for its codes; the thermometer from Philips’ manual; the swallowing line from the National Capital Poison Center.
